Customer Evaluations

I've been in the remodeling home business because 1975, and have worked most of this time by myself.
I'm just finishing a 10 x 20 space addition for a buyer. I bought this book at the starting of this project and have found Mr. Carroll's book refreshing and informative. There were a number of suggestions and suggestions that were benificial. I found the rafter layout-jig especially useful.
His suggestions about the "math" of the rafter was incredibly beneficial, and elevated my capacity to full the job in a timely maner which helped my bottom line.
I appreciated his simple and easy reading style and discovered his book enjoyable.
I wish his specifics on the cornice method had been a little even more detailed, but located his explanations sufficent.
I located his specifics about clamps and holding jigs to be of unique interest and enjoyed all of his book. I even purchased his other book, "Measuring, Marking, and Layout", which I also found enlighting, enjoyable, enjoyable, and benificial, to my specialist standing as a remodeler.
Thanks for two amazing books, that assist take the mystery out of some of the far more complicated parts of our profession.
Respectfully

this book was very useful to me in building a detached space for my son. The book was recommended from a internet site about building tiny houses, so I reserved it through our library. Having read the book, I discovered the ideas and explanations for framing rafters supplied clarification for the sketchy instructions from the 5 other books we have about constructing outbuildings. Perhaps using clamps and homemade jigs to help function is a given for a skilled, but it was an eye-opener for me! I did extensive renovation on my historical home, but had aid from good friends to do it. Creating this space from the ground up mostly alone is a several matter. I wish we had this book when we had been attempting to square the foundation. I am now ordering the book for myself, as the library desires their own book back
