Designing Your Dream Home is a need to have for any one thinking about or in the approach of designing or remodeling a house. As I remodeled my kitchen this book kept me from making some very expensive blunders. The biggest mistake I avoided was having custom cabinets made that were not deep enough to hold my oversized dinner plates. Thankfully, I read the kitchen section of this book just in time to contact the cabinet makers and have my cabinet dimensions changed to accomodate my plates. By reading this book you will stay clear of several inconveniences or every day annoyances that could have been avoided. You will not be disappointed!

This book is an excellent collection of very useful design suggestions and checklists to style or remodel every single space of your home. It focuses on "what you have to have to know" and "what you will need to give consideration to" for every phase of design or remodeling. It is to-the-point, with few wasted words. The checklists assist you quick identify where you require to understand or do additional with no plowing via a dozen books on any one particular topic.
